PHOEBE IN WONDERLAND, which recently had its world premiere at this years Sundance Film Festival and is based on Daniel Barnzs original screenplay, concerns a young girl (Elle Fanning) who longs to be in her schools production of Alice in Wonderland. Though her parents (Felicity Huffman and Bill Pullman) initially see their daughters unusual behavior as signs of creativity, they gradually realize that Phoebe is at risk of falling through the looking glass.

Machinae Supremacy (pronounced “muh-sheen suh-prem-uh-see”, IPA:
/m???i?ns??pr?m?si?/[1]) is a band from Lule? Sweden that combines modern
heavy metal and alternative rock with chiptunes. Self-defined as SID Metal,
many of their songs use a SidStation that features the SID chip of the
Commodore 64. They have released a considerable number of songs for free
download on their site, 32 original recordings, boasting over 3 million
downloads as of 2006.
Deus Ex Machinae, the band’s first commercial album was released in 2004
through MbD Records UK. The band is currently signed to Spinefarm Records,
through which they released their second studio album, Redeemer in 2006. As
of November 2007 the third album Overworld is in production and will be
released on February 13th, 2008.

(Jan. 2, 2008) — Love Revival, the Hallmark Valentine's Day CD featuring Reba McEntire, is available beginning today through the end of February, exclusively at Hallmark Gold Crown® stores. McEntire, a beloved singer, actress and philanthropist, selected each song for this romantic 10-track album, including four songs recorded exclusively for Hallmark. The four newly recorded songs are the energetic “Big Blue Sky,” and three moving ballads, “Bad for My Own Good,” “With You I Am” and “I'll Still Be Loving You.”
Other tracks on the album include “Forever Love,” which Reba first recorded for her 1998 album If You See Him, the same year she appeared as lead actress in a television movie of the same name. In the spirit of her successful Reba Duets album, McEntire also added “The Heart Won’t Lie” with country legend Vince Gill to this special Valentine’s Day CD. The title song, “Love Revival,” first appeared on McEntire’s 2003 Room to Breathe album.
“I’m so excited about this album because true love really is the sweetest thing in life,” says Reba. “I hope the music on Love Revival will move others to love those in their lives even more.”
The double Grammy-winner and Billboard Magazine “Woman of the Year” (2007) has hit the top spot on the Billboard Country charts numerous times, achieving 33 #1 hits. The platinum-selling Reba Duets album, her 31st studio album, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, a first-ever accomplishment for Reba on that chart. It earned Reba a Grammy nomination for the McEntire/Clarkson hit single "Because of You."
A legend in the making, Reba is now tied with another superstar, Loretta Lynn, for being the female artist with the most #1s on Billboard's Top Country Albums.
Teri Brown, president of T.B.A. Network, Inc., has worked with Hallmark since 2003 to craft music partnerships and played an integral part in securing McEntire’s participation for this special Valentine’s Day CD.

Before there was alt-country there were the Blood Oranges. Their three
releases fell squarely in a genre that didn't even have a name yet;
indeed, had it formed, they'd have been one of the leading names. Not
only did they have a superb guitar player in Mark Spencer, but they had
a wonderfully emotional writer and singer in Cheri Knight [I'll add here:
she's alt-country's answer to Linda Thompson] and Jimmy Ryan's mandolin,
composing, and singing provided much of the country flavor. It's just a
shame they were ahead of their time.
